The Unusual Dinner

 I am so bored today don't even feel like cooking — I thought and turned on tv. As destiny would have it, I saw MasterChef being screened. Nah not in a mood to see food and then crave for it so was about to order my usual parcel from nearby restaurant but then I hear a shhhh sound saying don't change lets watch MasterChef and don't your dare to order rather do something with all the fancy ingredients you bought on your last trip to store. I turn back and see my Kadhai speaking when are you gonna use that agar agar you bought saying I will make jellies and cake and set in kadhai as I don't have an oven. You were so quick to find alternative and even ordered a big box since small one was out of stock on that online portal. Its been 9 months and in another 2 months it says it will expire — isn't it agar agar, and then the bottle replies yes its true she picks me up, cleans the dust off and keeps me back at shelf. I feel so alone as I want to mix myself with fruits, flour , water and set my life but alas don’t even know if in this lifetime i will see the light of the burner as she doesn’t have an Oven. As i am trying to gather my thought on what's happening around me i see Khandsari sugar jump out of box and stares at me — am I the only one you bought in bulk claiming to eat healthy and obviously doing nothing? No no she has coconut cream, jaggery powder, olive oil, almond flour and many more items she used me to pay for — my credit card replies. Every time she sees something on Insta/fb/LinkedIn ( haan sometime there too ), google she will add that in cart or in basket if at store and use me to swipe as if its free and sad part is when i generate myself every month she starts sulking and saying credit card is bad — but yar maine kiya ki kya hai shopping to isne ki .:(

Don’t worry I understand your pain my air fryer replies she bought me thinking I will come home in less cost and make her life amazing with those Insta food reels and she can post pictures but where is the time she gives to operate me.

By now I was full of guilt with the amount of money I have spent and varieties of ingredients i have. I start searching some recipes on net and realized i don't have few ingredients so I immediately placed the request for delivery tomorrow , paid using my credit card and since its a fancy recipe , today I will order the food and prep myself for tomorrow’s cooking.
